Music, Faith, Food

When you look at me it's plain to see
that eating is something that makes me happy.
Facing the prospect of trying to get thinner
Already feeling sadness for the loss of my dinner
Good European cheeses are always pleasers,
Whole grains increase the brains capacity
Eat veggies with tenacity cos they make your body stronger,
Good food increases your chances of living well and longer.
I want to wax lyrical, rave about the miracle the wondrous variety
Of delicious edibles always available to privileged Westerners like me.
But I don’t wanna get too deep about eating cos there’s more in life
That pushes up the rate of my hearts beating
Music makes muscle memory manifest.
Great songs that stand the test
Create the means to invest positive energy forward to infinity.
When those songs play the happy rays imbue a place make happy faces
No one strays everyone stays in the heaving mass
That makes dancing such an easy task
Music. Music that makes you move grabs ya butt and puts it in a groove.
Can be pop, rock or rap, hip hop, funk, jazz, ska, skank, roots, reggae or blues
Each and everyone of them has got me in my dancing shoes.
Shaking it, not faking it, getting down and dirty to soulful or earthy
Music yeah, music
Lights up my life brings me to the highest raptures of delight.
I have a solid, sound life philosophy
Guaranteed to make me happy
I give my voice, time and energy
Chanting in unison, seeking harmony
Challenges obstruct me, laziness abducts me
I get pulled up abruptly
The Mystic Law works subtly to manifest my dreams.
I study, do activities deepen my faith.
My practise celebrates diversity, allows enough perversity, encourages originality,
demands answer-ability, seeks affinity with alacrity,
recognizes animality, neutralizes animosity,
rewards ability, praises agility, needs no ambiguity.
That’s why it’s the best to me.
Music, faith, food, all pretty mega
And definitely to the good
